WHAT WE ARE ABOUT
We believe that a church should be warm, welcoming and fun! It should be a place where you meet God through friendships, worship, study and service. The church should be a place where you can discover God's plan for your life, in a way that makes sense and is relevant.

HOW WE DO IT
At Messiah, we preach God's unconditional acceptance and love -- GRACE! And they will help you learn how to respond to that love with your every day life. They teach the Bible and on practical life questions and issues.

OUR MUSIC
At Messiah we believe that worshiping and praising God is one of the most important things you can do. Therefore, we believe that worship, no matter the style should be lively, moving, and even fun. We offer two distinct styles of worship.

The 8:30 service is the traditional liturgy of the Lutheran Church, using the resources of the "Lutheran Book of Worship" and "With One Voice". The music sung spans a large variety from classical to American gospel, to some contemporary.

The 11:00 worship, while following a regular order of service, uses contemporary music almost exclusively and spoken services that are in an everyday, easy to understand language.

MORE
Besides Sunday worship, we offer Faith Formation (learning and faith-growing) opportunities of all kinds. There are Sunday and Wednesday classes for 3 year olds through adults. The junior and senior high school youth have regular events and gatherings that include fellowship, study and service. There are women's groups as well as a men's group. Bible studies, support groups and orientation classes are also offered.

Know that as a visitor you will be warmly welcomed, but not singled out or embarrassed in any way. We have coffee and refreshments every Sunday. (By the way, we serve "Equal Exchange" coffee -- check out their web site from our Links.) We want you to enjoy your time with us.
